Repair Party: Save the Date – 21 Feb 2026

Join The Restart Project’s monthly Repair Party with Sustainable Thornton Heath and give your broken devices a second life.

Our friendly volunteer fixers will help you diagnose faults and guide you through getting your items working again. Whether you bring a small kitchen appliance or a household gadget, you can learn practical skills while reducing waste. At the same time, you’ll gain confidence to fix things yourself in the future.

We run this event in collaboration with The Restart Project, a global community that empowers people to fix and reuse electronics. Together, we tackle e-waste, share hands-on knowledge, and, ultimately, build a culture where fixing becomes the norm rather than the exception.

What to expect

  • Free help from experienced repair volunteers
  • A welcoming, community-focused environment
  • The chance to learn how to fix your own items

is a repair guaranteed?

  • We don’t guarantee a repair, but we will recommend alternatives
  • Only bring items you can carry (max 10kg)
  • No microwaves or mobile phones
  • First-come, first-served – wait times may vary

These events are as much about learning and sharing as they are about getting things working again, so feel free to ask questions and get involved.

We look forward to seeing you there!
