Free Workshop: Wild Food Detectives – The Hedgerow Edition, delivered by Clare Riley
Our expert will prepare a few things you could dip in and out of:
- A fun berry/plant identification activity – looking at things like blackberries, rosehips, hawthorn, elderberries, sloes and rowan, and finding out what they can be used for
- A small tasting table with a few things I’ve made beforehand from wild berries, such as a syrup, compote or preserve, fruit leathers, etc., with simple recipes to take away
- A hands-on activity where children (and adults!) can make something simple to take home, perhaps a little wild-inspired snack and/or a wild tea.
- All abilities welcome.

- BUY refills of Laundry liquid, Washing-up liquid, Hand soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body wash, Toilet Cleaner & new Multi-surface Cleaner too – don’t forget to bring your own containers!
- Terracycle waste drop-off points for certain hard-to-recycle items! Help us spread the word and make sure you come and check us out!
- FREE clothes swap – feel free to bring one item of clothing in a good, clean condition and in return you can take up to a bag of clothes away completely free.
- Special Vegan Menu at the lowest price in South Norwood High Street! Walk out with the recipe in your pocket if you like.
