Our newly named Eco Living Fest! takes places on Sat 18th May at the usual time (1-4pm) and—for the first time & foreseeable future!—at Holy Innocents church & hall in South Norwood!
THIS FEST’S HIGHLIGHTS!
A) In this Fest’s free drop-in workshop you can build your own terrarium!
Terrariums are a tiny garden in a sealed jar that are self-nourishing – a mini ecosystem you can carry anywhere! We will be running 4 x 20 minute sessions throughout the day to build your own terrarium. So why not bring a tallish, clean, glass jar with label removed and swing by!
B) Pick-up vegetable seedlings on a pay-what-you-can basis, and grow some of your own food at home!
Seedlings have been grown by Irene (who runs our Food Growing & Greening stall) and Ian, and will include tomatoes and more. Some have been grown from heirloom seeds, meaning you can save the seeds from what you grow and use them to grow plants without having to buy new seeds!
